It is hard to believe that we have 2 weeks left until our Winter Break! How fast the last few months have flown by. Operation Kinder Kindness is in full swing in our classroom. Along with Christmas cards for our troops and our Veteran's Food Drive, we have our elf Kindie, the kindness elf teaching us what it means to be kind. We have cleaned up the boot rooms, tidied up for a friend and today we learned about giving compliments.
Operation Tiny Troops
We have made some really beautiful cards that will be mailed to our Troops this holiday season. Thank you to those who gifted us some cards to use as well.
Veteran's Food Drive
This has been very successful so far and our Kinder friends are loving seeing all of the different food items come in. We have been sorting by size, shape and weight. Keep the food items coming! We will continue to collect until the evening of Dec 18.
Food choices
It only seems natural that as we sort our food bank donations, we begin to talk about different foods and how they impact our bodies. We will be discussing food groups and choices next week. If you have any grocery flyers, please send them to school with your child.
Christmas Concert
There will be two performances. Tuesday, December 17 at 1:00pm and 6:00pm. We encourage ALL students to attend the 1:00pm and 6:00pm performances. Children are asked to dress in their holiday best for each performance.
