Hello Families!

I Belong

We are continuing to discuss the different groups we belong to, including our families, our classrooms and our school. We had a short history lesson today, please ask your children who Andrew Sibbald was?

Fish Creek Walking Trips
We had so much fun on our walking trips this week. We saw some exciting things such as geese, ducks, coyote, and animal footprints. Ask your child what their favourite part of our trip was.

Leprechaun Traps
With our Grade 5/6 buddies, we will be making leprechaun traps leading up to St. Patrick's Day. We are looking for some supplies to make these successful. We will be making these with AM Kinder on Friday, March 13 and PM Kinder on Monday, March 16.

Supplies needed:

· Green stickers
· Anything sparkly
· Gold coins
· Green paper
· Shamrocks
· Plastic containers to catch a leprechaun
· Pipe cleaners

We have asked a lot of our families in the last couple of weeks. Thank you to all of our volunteers for helping out in our classroom and walking with us this week. Thank you to all of the families who sent it items for our new Maker Space centre and for our leprechaun traps. We love having the extra materials so we can be more creative.

Servus Ski Wednesdays
